BeReal is not good (most appropriate way i could say this). It is a Privacy nightmare. Just think about it, a bunch of random strangers are getting access to every single day what you and your family are doing. I know nobody is concerned about privacy anymore. Seems like we have lost that but still Also BeReal has a bunch of Ads. And since the inclusion of Ads bereal has quickly lost in popularity. If you are searching for a Alternative, you should try out DD-DigitalDiary It doesn't have a lot of the features like social sharing. It is basically a journaling application. But still could be a good alternative. Also there was another app Minutaie which first started this trend so i suggest you should also check it out

TL;DR

The zero-day, tracked as CVE-2025-27363, resides in the System component and stems from a memory handling bug in FreeType — an open-source library widely used for font rendering. The flaw allows for local code execution without requiring additional privileges or user interaction. According to Facebook’s security team, which first disclosed details about the vulnerability in March 2025, attackers can exploit the issue through malformed TrueType GX or variable font files, leading to heap buffer overflows and potentially arbitrary code execution. While the vulnerability was fixed in FreeType 2.13.0 over two years ago, older versions remain embedded in many Android builds and third-party software, making the risk of exploitation significant.

he F-Droid app was created in 2009 in the early days of Android and lots of its code is still that old. While the ecosystem has seen many drastic shifts, the F-Droid community heroically kept the app alive with band aids and chewing gum.

It is a half baked review, IMO. The author says that despite having 45 W charging, the phone takes 75 mins to charge. Samsung really slows down it's charging speeds post 80%, so testing from 0 to 100 is not a good criterion at all.
