The team and I, as well as Lemmy.world Admins, have come to an agreement that any artist/comic that is deemed to be transphobic, racist, or in any other way demonstrates bigotry toward any group or minority will be removed from circulation. We will keep a list of banned artists in the sidebar and update it as new artists are uncovered.
Well hello again everybody! This has been a wonderful past couple of days. I want to give a huge thank you to everybody who participated in my Under New Management post from Thursday. There was a lot of great feedback, and it will go a long way to helping me better understand all of your wants and needs for this community. Yay!
Update 1: I edited the š½ļø Credit Where Credit is Due rule to be more clear about attributions, watermarks, and cropping of comics. Also I fixed some spelling mistakes.
One reoccurring theme in Addamsā works, is mariticide. Which is quite the stark contrast to The Addams Family, where Morticia and Gomez love nothing more than their spouse.
This is true. If you were to see my sketches, theyāre awful. Cartooning isnāt about being a good artist. I see so many people telling me they canāt draw which is the reason they donāt want to be a cartoonist. I hope they realize they can probably come up with the funniest shit from the worst drawings.
When it came time to giving names to the members of the Addams Family, Charles had a name for the son, Pubert. But he was asked to rename him for the TV show. So he was named Pugsley.

I hope this sort of post is ok. Iām looking for a comic strip I saw the other day (which may or not been here, I follow comics in multiple places) which depicted a woman walking her dog and stopping at a food truck and still buying the food even after she found out that they kill puppies with every purchase, because āitās sooo good!ā
I did two, one with and one without any commentary because sometimes itās better to leave it up to the reader. Iām not sure which one is better, or if it even matters.
Translation might be off for this one. The translator says āJucikaās evening school gameā, but I think it might be getting the last word wrong. I resorted to finding another post of this comic via reverse image search, which just said āgoes to evening schoolā
