I cooked this one for dinner today. The mushrooms were baked with tamari and Liquid Smoke so they taste like bacon. The white cream you see is just soaked cashews blended with water. It’s very yummy.

Just some chicken thighs cooked in a cast iron skillet.

Made for dinner yesterday. Liver lightly fried in a pan; then greens with plenty of vinegar, chili flakes, spices.

Lamb sous vide 4h @ 132F seared over natural lump charcoal in the bottom of a chimney starter. (Start a small chimney of charcoal and put it in the base of big chimney, seared on a cooling rack 1 min 20 sec each side). Served against a mixed green salad with some cherry tomatoes.

Made some lentil crunch wrap supremes this past week. They turned out amazing I will be making these a few times this spring and summer.

Extra mature cheddar, pink lady apple, rocket, and homemade onion chutney on some also homemade bread. Insides of the bread toasted just a little to give it a bit more structure.

Tan Tan is one of my favorite ramen. And a couple weeks ago I decided to check how hard it would be to make at home.

OMG. This recipe is one of the best I have tried.

Simple shrimp and clam pasta. Quick, simple, nourishing. The picture is missing the parsley on top and the dish was missing a lot of chilli spice but there was one person at the table that can't tolerate it.

I used up the rest of the ingredients from my chimichanga, so these are made with honey chipotle chicken thighs, avocado lime crema, and quick-pickled onions and serranos (made with apple cider vinegar)

I made smashed lentil tacos and wow they were great! First I sauteed finely diced onion, red pepper, mushrooms and garlic. Then I combined them with a can of lentils, taco seasoning, ketchup, light soy sauce and blended oats. It looked very much like taco seasoned ground beef. Then I formed a ball of the lentils on the wrapped and pressed it until flat, then cooked in a fry pan on both sides. I made a dip it was an avocado, plain yogurt, cloves of garlic, lime juice and parsley. Blend until smooth. Full of flavour, extremely light on the wallet and I'm looking forward to having these again soon.

Made Napolitano style pizza dough for pizza night at home. The closer pizza has a pesto sauce with bacon, tomatoes and mozzarella. The further one is a simple tomato sauce with ground beef and sausage, tomatoes, mozza and topped with basil

Reverse seared ribeye, oyster mushrooms, edible flowers. Fondant potatoes with crab and herb salad on the side.

Left it to cook in the oven for hours. It was absolutely delicious!

I recently purchased a Crimpit, and I really love using it. You put a tortilla in it, fill it, crimp it, (optionally) cook it, and eat it. This was my breakfast today.

Made some 48hr pizza but only had time to let it rise overnight. Still one of the best pizzas I ever had. The dough is just amazing. Even had a friend try making it today and he said it was so good he basically vacuumed it up.

Pan seared lamb loin chops with pilaf, roast acorn squash and broccoli.

Nothing can beat fried eggs in the morning.

Some corn tortilla, spicy beef, beans, onions, red pepper and never enough cheese. Toasted for a bit, sprinkled some garlic sauce and sriracha, profit.

Tiny sushi joint with great food has a unique dish made with lobster roe sauce... Yummo!

Local small restaurant. First time I've had this dish. It was delicious. Better than some high end seafood joints.

My first visit to Saltie Girl. All the food we had was delicious.

I just threw these together on Sunday with what we had on hand. The wings at the top are honey maple lime, and the ones on the bottom are sambal.

My favorite comfort food pot roast. Let it cook all day yesterday on low heat. Reminds me of my childhood, of course it's never as good.

Eggs, sausage, bacon, shredded hashbrowns, and cheddar cheese, wrapped in a grilled tortilla!
