Ok, but the second world war marks the end of the battleship as a useful concept. Those that survived it did not for their inherent quality but for winning the war. A fat ass lard master 3000 hast no place on the modern battlefield. Arms have outpaced the armor and need for big guns.
Remember, the alligator wants to eat the bigger number
That, at least, was one of the few parts of math that actually made sense to me, personally.

The most badass destroyer of the war was Piorun.
During the “hunt for the Bizmark”, before the big ships caught up, the German Battleship was shadowed by a few small British ships, one being the Piorun. As for what happened next, it’s important to know that the Piorun was crewed by Poles.
Because alone, against orders, and lacking any since of self-preservation, the Piorun charged the Bizmark.
Here is a video about it. [17:01] Warning, lazerpig is a little extra, but his info is good.

Did you mean <1 (less than one) year?
Must have been quite a trip to see that bad boy rolling up to port after the front fell off
“It’ll buff out.”
So what do you do to protect the environment in such cases?
Tis but a scratch!
That’s not very typical, so I must imagine it was quite a shock to see

after makeshift repairs that included sealing the bow with a concrete wall, Andrias set sail for Alexandria, disregarding Allied advice against such a perilous journey.
