Sucks that we couldn’t of had that from the beginning, and instead they went for gas instead.

As far as I know, the lead acid batteries would only be usable for around 500 charge cycles, with the slowly degrading range that comes with the falling capacity.

Sure but if they had invested in that route, I’m sure we would have gotten better battery technology lot sooner. If I read correctly we had solar power back further then that.

I’m not sure the materials science was there. Sometimes things don’t catch on because it’s just not feasible with the technology we have at the time.

For example, a lot of scientists during the Renaissance created machines that would eventually be feasible, but just couldn’t be made at the time.

battery tech back then would have made that car a short commute vehicle.

really wonder its range and charge times.

Yeah. That’s the point

imagining urban design if we only had those electric cars.

probably still shitty, and car centric. however, long range travel still would rely on trains.
