I started getting a lot of comments about bipolar disorder when I worked a job where I basically jogged for ten hours.

Maybe I am possibly undiagnosed, but also runners high is no fucking joke

I used to run cross country in primary, middle and high school. I only felt the runners high once, in a competition where I went from middling performance to 9th in the province in the most competitive field of my time. Weirdest experience ever. Halfway through the race, I started to feel what could only be described as an orgasm , in my right thumb. I was deeply confused as to what was going on. Then the endorphines spread everywhere and I felt no pain or tiredness. I felt great everywhere. I just kept passing people effortlessly. I had never heard of the runners high and only learned of it later.

At the end of the race I could have kept going, who knows for how long.

That’s pretty intense. Can’t say it ever felt orgasmic for me but I was probably not running at the same intensity. But that unending vigor feeling is real, like once you’re peaking it’s crazy the limits you can push your body to.

I miss doing that. Have you ever used MDMA? The lasting “glow” is pretty similar for some people

Sadly have not.

Eh, nothing wrong with that. Some people never try it, but definitely tag me in a trip report if you ever do
