Adachi Masao 足立正生 got his start in 'pink film' (softcore erotica) in the 1960s, got political and went to the Middle East to make Red Army–PFLP–Declaration of World War (1971) and spent almost three decades in Beirut as the spokesman for the Japanese Red Army there and assisting the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), until deported in 2000 and serving two years in a Japanese prison.
