It really doesn’t matter. I live in the Midwest, farmers bitch about everything, this is just one more thing. They always vote Republican, even though they get an ass load of government subsidies, but fuck needy people.

The cherry on top is how they all act like they are “growing everyone’s food” for charity or because of altruism, and that everyone else should kiss their red rosy because of it.
I see them trying to make that happen online, too. It’s like they see all the pomp around the military and want all that adulation, too.
I grew up a very red and rural area, and that was my experience. The welfare they all got didn’t count; only the welfare that “people in the city” got did. Oh, and if you think “people in the city” was dog whistling, well, no, because they would very much use lots and lots of racial slurs, too. So you didn’t even have to read between the lines, LOL.

Most farms today are either corporate farms or leased to corporate farming. If you try to open a REAL family farm you’ll be sued till you sell or lease. The cost of business just gets passed on. The billionaires own us. Plain and simple.

Took a long drive through the flyover states last month, happy to report seeing this sticker on a few gas station pumps
Illinois was just $4.99 for regular and premium was $6.09. Diesel was $6.99.
Go over the border to Indiana, $3.86 & $4.96 respectively, and diesel was $5.89. I noticed IL has come down slightly since a couple weeks ago.
Indiana suspended state taxes on gas that is why it is lower.
