They got big this week, even with the freeze in Denver. Every chicken thrived, I wrapped the little chicken hut in a moving blanket, wrapped again with a tarp, and put a little lean-to of a tarp over the food and water for the two day storm.

The bunnies started showing up during the day again, and I snapped a random pic of one.

She let me do all kinds of stuff with her mane for over an hour before she wanted to graze. She was content with me making her look fabulous while she watched the lesson horses get ridden.

She is already chomping hay way better than she was. Apparently she was putting up so much of a fuss when the dentist was there, that she had to be sedated. But she got the treatment she needed.

Total yearly compensation: $52.3 million dollars.

Her mane has gotten a little thicker and longer since she started her weight gain supplement, so hopefully I'll see some noticeable gain on her body soon! Girl needs her hips back!

The weather in Denver is so nice and they seemed like they were so bored in the garage that I put them out earlier than I planned. I can always put them in the garage if we get a freeze. They are fully feathered so even freezing temps shouldn't harm them now. I'm out here at dusk because they don't know to go in their kennel at night and I'll have to pick them up and put them in, like I did last night.

I have been struggling with my mental health this week and seeing her really helped me. She seemed to pick up on it and was being extra playful and affectionate.

As I was working in the ecogarden at school, this bee decided it wanted to hang out with us and look pretty. I managed to snap two photos before it was gone again.

We're in like fourth spring here right now so a little bit of dry and warm is pretty nice!

My son (4yo) went ice fishing with his kindergarten group. Nobody didn't catch anything but I was told everyone had fun. I feel like s*it because I can't do these things with him. But when he's happy so am I

I took this the other day at my friend's house in Phoenix. I didn't think these would grow here because the humidity is so low, but I guess I am mistaken.

I thought it might have died in there, since I watched it for a good two minutes with no movement. It turns out that "passing out" in flowers is a thing that bees do sometimes.

Today we went to Moran where they have a traditional market every 5 days. There is kind of a food court with a lot of tents where it's ok warm during the winter and we ate there some pig skin and lung and then also a clam soup with noodles and a fried pancake.

I'm giving her so many extra calories in the form of a supplement and treats and I'm not going to be doing any lunging or anything with her until she gains weight. We're just gonna hang out and enjoy each other. Maybe she'll let me braid her mane and tail someday lol.
