Why is ICE even armed? Maybe, and I’m just throwing it out here, but maybe immigration violations shouldn’t be worthy of a death sentence? And if an officer is in danger, maybe just de-escalate and go away until you can pull in trained personnel to handle potentially violent interactions.
LibertyLizardCopaganda. I mean this is true of like 99% of al law enforcement activities, not just immigration related. But the American people are so indoctrinated into supporting these paramilitary goons that they accept it as normal.
ICE has no recruits except the “give me a reason to shoot” crowd who are scared all the time. Remember that one ICE age t who pissed his pants?

ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.
An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.
Of course… there’s video online of the incident already, and naturally it shows that that statement is complete horseshit (not that anybody had any doubts about that). This will probably get taken down soon, but here (NSFL):

Video is posted to Bluesky. The agent walks up to her car window and starts shooting almost immediately. One through the windshield the others through the driver’s side window.

“We have no idea who this person is, we never heard of them, they probably aren’t a real ICE agent, but even if they are this was a totally justified shooting.”

It’s in a different part of the metro from the current actions taking place, and that facility has had protests since October. It is heavily guarded. We aren’t getting in there.
