It’s the USSR’s fault that most eastern europeans think communism is evil. Same as how it’s Israel’s fault that many middle easterners think Judaism is evil. If you lie long enough, people are gonna believe you and you might not like the results.

Yeah. The PR poison of bad actors is long-lasting and far-reaching. Unfortunately, it means the rest of us have to work double-time to make up for it - and oftentimes, it’s difficult to convince enough of our fellow citizens to do so.
