I didn’t bother watching it. Just seemed like a dumb idea.

All the shit they and the rest of the NCIS team went through as “super cops” just to have these two have to handle shit on their own seemed really forced - just like bringing Ziva back to life on the main show.

Kate died in S3 or so. The actor went on to star in Rizzoli & Isles. Ziva was her eventual replacement. Written into the story arc to find Kate’s killer.
