83 billion…. fucking hell
I know, I don’t make that in a year!
LoL!!!!
If you were born in the year 10 000BC and you were immortal and somehow saved $1,000.00 every week. 1 2026 years later you still wouldn’t have a billion dollars.
And if you saved even $10,000.00 per week, you wouldn’t even be at half that amount. Less than a tenth even.

Don’t know if I’m supposed to take sides but I’m honestly rooting for Netflix in this, lol. What about the rest of you?
It’s the lesser of two evil. But can’t say I am rooting for Netflix (despite the gains to my very small stock position because of the deal).
Paramount/Larry Ellison would use WB for their ideological goals, which would be terrible.
Netflix is a threat to cinema culture and maybe to quality, if they change it to be based more on viewership numbers rather than quality. Also it is more concentration.
I wish WB would stay independent. I know they have a ton of debt from the at&t spinoff, but I think they’d have been able to survive long-term and also been big enough to compete with other streaming services.
Really sad to see them absorbed, especially after the year they had.
I hate Netflix less than the Ellisons.
And I feel that theaters were already dying, so I don’t see Netflix losing this saving an industry.
They’re both shit and this acquisition shouldn’t even be allowed.
