Season 3 really needs to over deliver to make up for some of the stupid moves they made in season 2, and I’m not sold on this trailer alone.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has me believing that this franchise can be good if they just make the right decisions, but I don’t know how likely HotD is to learn from its prior missteps.

I agree this is going to be an important season. Season 2 was cut short and it really hurt how that season ended. The first or second episode really needs to payoff what’s been built up.

Secondly, although just as important, are characters decisions. While I had some issues, nothing really bothered me too much. Although the public disagreements between GRRM and the show runner Ryan Condal do make me concerned.

I think with season 4 confirmed as the final season I hope they have a clear plan for both this season and the next and can pace themselves accordingly.
