Devils Panties 01/31/2025

Wow 66. The parents in the strip I think are in their 40's. I found sometime in my 40's and maybe even late 30's I seemed to get colder easier year after year. Our temp is set to 69 which is partially because I find it funny but does just work. My wife is always cold and we have had a lot of conversations around this topic. My rule I will not budge on is that we should be colder in the winter and hotter in the summer. I have known so many folks that want their house 70 when its 100 degrees outside but 74 when its 0 degrees outside. Which is just nuts to me. 69 is basically a bit cold for us but it works with blankets and our heating system is electric so in the daytime we use portable heaters actually to feel comfortable in the space we are in. Bathrooms can be cold and we hope to get in floor heating. I sorta wonder if they have radiant heat as when we have had it we found lower temps felt more comfortable than our forced air system.

In floor heating? C'mon man. Play some minecraft for once in your life! Grab a bucket, go to the nether, and.....THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!!! THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!!!

thats hillarious.

I'm right with you on warmer in the summer, colder in the winter.

I take a couple of medications that make me very sensitive to overheating in the summer and my time as a caregiver really showed me how heat can absolutely destroy people with poor health. You just can't risk that your AC will break when it's 110 Freedom Units outside and you'll get truly sick.

Adjusting the AC for seasons, and then making sure to get time outside (if only at dawn or dusk) is just the only way to keep yourself adaptable.
