*Summary*
Elon Musk is orchestrating an unlawful takeover of government spending, bypassing Congress while assembling far-right internet supporters and illegal advisors on X.
His team, including young conspiracists and controversial figures like Michael Benz, aggressively promotes extremist views and grossly misinterprets historical and legal precedents.
Musk’s maneuvers threaten federal programs such as USAID and the Small Business Administration, risking foreign aid, infrastructure, and social services without proper oversight.
This blending extremist influence with legal disregard poses huge risks to democratic processes and public welfare, breaking down constitutional boundaries and accountability.
Republicans have been running the most generous DEI program in history. All you need to be is a minority willing to confirm their priors. It's a good living and no qualifications necessary.
It's no wonder they view identity politics as craven and cynical. Because for them, it is.
Once again every Republican accusation is an admission. It's all projection with them, always has been.
He did have one good idea right at the end there.
"follow your leader!"
Hitler managed to accomplish one task that many before had tried and failed and the world is better for it.
How is this a 'covert' coup, when we are getting daily reportage?
Presumably because it's phased on overnight nightly and that nobody in the right wing will know about it because they've collectively agreed not to cover it to any degree where you could extrapolate reality from the reporting.
sigh.
