The symmetry scratches the right part of my brain, it’s an extremely soothing picture.
It surely doesn't look like it was manufactured by the Kuat Drive Yards.
Kylo Ren asked for a REALLY BIG light saber, so they had to build it in space.

TIE fighter "wings" are solar panels so it's not crazy but also not really, mostly because they don't also serve as armor for the cockpit and aren't oriented the same way.
If those things were true though? Sure. Why not.
