Samsung CEO warns of "do-or-die" situation, urges investment over short-term profits

Something that might have worked if they had considered it a few years ago.

Last year, reports surfaced that Samsung had shifted its executives to a grueling six-day workweek to "inject a sense of crisis" after recognizing its struggles in AI chips. However, the strategy does not seem to have delivered the intended results.

Yeah, overworking helps with creative problem solving abilities ...

"Please reinvest in our company that we keep enshittifying the product we push to you, don't worry it's to 'keep the price low' so you can afford our AI sub fee in the future to come. Don't get too comfortable with features ;)"
How far samsung has fallen from grace, comes to happen when only profits are perceived as keys to success. Not like quality and features of a product/quality of life play into that ¯_(ツ)_/¯
