Watching the speech I felt he's working for a better deal for workers.

But then:

O’Brien rejected criticism of his appearance at the convention.

He said: “I don’t care about getting criticized. Its an honor to be the first Teamster in our 121-year history to address the Republican national convention. Think about this. The Teamsters are doing something correct if the extremes in both parties think I shouldn’t be on this stage,” he continued.

Sounds sus, like he's not getting that unionism is a very left if not *extreme left* phenomena and that unions which didn't understand this ended up folding or enslaving their members to the fascist that they helped elect.
