Great show.
Also, happy to hear that Jack Lowden is going to play the lead in a separate series based on the Philip Kerr, Bernie Gunther series.
This show is so excellent!
When ?
25th of Sept 2025
If I had to rank them, 2-1-4-3. I have also kinda started to feel like we're coasting on performances and vibes at this point, with plots sort of repetitive and some serious existential questions best left ignored.

How many times does MI5 have to literally try to kill our horsies before they fucking bail? S3 obviously the most egregious and descended into action-movie self-parody at times, but it seems to happen at least once a season. Although, I guess, "don't quit or we'll kill you" is adequate motivation, if a bit of a buzzkill 🤣.
So yeah whoever mentioned or recommended this the first time, thank you. Season 1 was extremely good, season 2 was good. Let's see.
There's an inconsistency in the main character though: he's supposed to be a genuine arsehole, but him caring about his losers - an important plot device since halfway season 1 - makes it less genuine. the abrasiveness starts to feel glued on.
