Explanation: The French politician Maximilien Robespierre was the head (ha) of a period known as the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. In this Reign of Terror, many of his political opponents - both conservatives and revolutionaries - met their end by the guillotine, their heads dropping into a wicker basket thereafter for easy retrieval and display to the excited crowds.

Robespierre himself would eventually meet his end at Madam Guillotine.
