That article is very short on facts, so much speculation. It is incredible that Paramount let Sheridan go. As the article says he was the content creator for Paramounnt+.
I do think that they article is correct in speculating that Paramount figures they already own the rights to his big hits and Sheridan is tapped out.
Personally I am bewildered by his success. Everything I have seen of his since Wind River is absolute garbage. Though I have to admit I have never bothered to watch any of Landman.
I could see Sheridan being tapped out easily. All his shows are basically the same.
Starts out interesting/entertaining, but nothing really evolves in his worlds. Characters just act more dramatic and more “plot” happens to coverup the lack of any real substance.
Agreed but his TV crap is so popular
Billy Bob made Landman good but the character us the same trope he uses in all his other shows, the tough, Republican, manly man who’s always right with his simple solutions to complex problems.
