The only way to build a video model is by scrapping YouTube or big Hollywood companies. If YouTube and Disney get to decide who is allowed to build models and at what price, we will never get free open source video generation.
It's better to be pragmatic. Video creators were never going to get a dime, all the profit was going to end up in some YouTube executives bonus from the get go. I'd rather see FOSS get a chance.
And every time someone has to remember something there would be a great big awkward pause.....
