It’s not the election process I’m worried about, it’s the critical thinking skills of the voters.

I'm more worried about the MAGA goobers who got positions on election boards. See Georgia's current headache.

Under the new rule passed Tuesday, local boards can initiate a "reasonable inquiry" when discrepancies emerge. They will also have the power to withhold certification until that inquiry is completed. It does not define the term "reasonable inquiry", nor does it establish strict limitations on the breadth of an inquiry.

Well.. the election process as well. Counting votes is only the first step toward getting votes counted.

Thinking? It's a popularity contest. Like picking Miss March. The way trump talks is very charming to a lot of people, so he is popular.

This has been bullshit for 20 years, what changed all of a sudden?

and all agreed that their countries (or international blocs, in De Vries' case) have managed to make their voting systems pretty resilient to outside threats.

No word on how they intend to protect voting systems when the elected officials running the elections are conspiring to change the results if they don't like them

Exactly. It's the threats from within that I'm worried about.
