I don't get it
It's a reference to the Dolly Parton song, Jolene. Part of the lyrics says "please don't take my man."
And for those who aren't aware, it sounds killer when played at the wrong speed.
And *9 To 5* is a famous - and most definitely creepy and inappropriate now - movie that Dolly Parton was in.
Honestly the movie still holds up. It's a great time. Not sure what's creepy or inappropriate about it?
Uhh ... kidnapping, false imprisonment, maybe torture?
It's a comedy about working women getting revenge on their gross, sexist, terrible boss. It's not a morality tale, it's a satire.
For which she released a country song, "9 to 5" that was extremely popular in the US.
I feel dumb... but where does the picture of eye drops come into play here? Is it the "$5.29" sounding like "9 to 5" backwards? Are the "Brolene" boxes all coupled up, hence "don't take my man"? Or?
Brolene and Jolene sound similar.
This is some top tier reddit humour, complete with the jpeg artifacts.
I guess people are still drunk from Halloween.
The funniest part is that it's and eye product and the picture is blurry.
9 to 5 is another song by Dolly Parton, but otherwise nothing to do with the picture or Jolene/Brolene joke.
this is snort my drink from my mouth into my nasal passage level
Pour myself a cup of brolene and yawn and stretch and try to come to life
